Cloud foundation • Terraform • Delivery
Solvinity
Setting up new cloud environments and delivery paths faster and more consistently, so onboarding did not become manual work every time.
Challenge
New client and team environments needed to start faster. There was too much variation between setups, too much manual project setup and no fixed enough path from cloud foundation to working delivery.
Approach
- Set up Terraform foundations and provisioning standards for Azure and AWS environments
- Automated more of the Azure DevOps and CI/CD project setup, including YAML-driven project structures
- Standardised alerting and incident routing towards Opsgenie and ServiceNow
Impact
- New environments and projects moved faster from request to usable setup
- Less variation between client environments and teams
- Operations connected earlier through standard alerting and incident flows
What this shows
This is a familiar frustration for product teams and scale-ups: a new environment or delivery path should not take weeks of coordination and manual setup. The value was in patterns that can be reused without treating every client or team as a bespoke project.
